Being an Idaho girl, I was raised in the outdoors and find every opportunity to enjoy our diverse state through biking, hiking, climbing and being by the water. I share these experiences with my husband and two hilarious, senior citizen pug-mutts.
In my time outside I have come to understand that healing can be greatly facilitated by connecting with nature whether that be backpacking in the Sawtooth mountains or a walk around the block.
My professional career has included several decades as a teacher, coach, and professional counselor. These experiences have lead to my approach of utilizing cognitive interventions with an existential seeking to connect with our more authentic selves helping provide relief from self-sabotage and the negative self-talk that limits us.
